How do I activate MFA (ulti-factor authentication) in Mondido?

To make your Mondido account more secure, you can enable a more advanced login method. You can add multi-factor authentication, which means adding additional verification steps to ensure extra-secure access to your account. Multi-factor authentication, or MFA, can be done through an extra SMS, a phone call, or by using an MFA app.

Here’s how to add multi-factor authentication in Mondido using an MFA app:

1. Download an MFA app to your smartphone, for example:

1. Google Authenticator
2. Microsoft Authenticator
3. Authy

2. Go to the MFA page in the Mondido admin.

3. Scan the QR code on the page using your MFA app.

4. Enter the numeric code from the app and click the button in the admin.
(Remember to check that the time is synced between the app and your computer or the platform you’re logging in from.)

When you log in moving forward, open the app and retrieve the code to enter after signing in with your username and password. If you want to deactivate MFA, you can do so on the same page where you activated it in the Mondido admin.
