? How to Add More Currencies for Card Payments

✅ Step 1: Contact Us

Send an email to onboarding@mondido.com with the currency (or currencies) you'd like to add.

? Step 2: Understand How Payouts Work

All card payouts are made in your base currency (e.g: SEK).
Example: If you accept payments in EUR, the funds will be converted to SEK before being paid out/settled to your SEK account.

You have two options:

Option 1: Payouts in your base currency (default)

Easiest setup.
All currencies are converted to your base currency (e.g. SEK).
No need for extra accounts.

Option 2: Separate payouts per currency

You'll need multiple merchant accounts with the card acquirer (one per currency).
This allows payouts to be made in each original currency (e.g. EUR payouts to an EUR account).
Requires approval from the card provider — takes a little more time to set up.

Step 3: Test the New Currency

Once we've added your requested currency, you can test it right away via your payment form.
