      Website requirements Card

      To ensure compliance and provide a secure and transparent experience for your customers, please ensure your website meets the following requirements:

       

      1. Operator and Domain Registration
        The contractual partner must be the operator of the website, with the domain registration reflecting this. Proof may be requested.

      2. Company Information
        The website must display the following details:

        • Company name

        • Physical address

        • Phone number

        • Email address

        • Country of registration

        • Registration number

           

      3. Terms and Conditions
        A comprehensive set of Terms and Conditions must be available. It is highly recommended to include a checkbox for users to accept these terms, as it is a legal requirement that protects both the website owner and the user.

         

      4. Privacy Policy and Data Protection
        Clear documentation must be provided regarding how user data is collected, stored, and protected, especially for businesses handling sensitive information.

         

      5. Refund, Return, Shipping, and Cancellation Policies
        Your website must clearly outline policies for refunds, returns, shipping, and cancellations. Please note that this does not apply to digital products, sanitary items, or similar exceptions.

         

      6. Bank Statement Descriptor
        The descriptor that will appear on customers’ bank statements must be provided. This should clearly reflect the company’s URL or trade name, allowing customers to easily identify the transaction.

         

      7. Recurring Transactions
        For recurring transactions (including subscriptions via card payments), specific requirements according to card scheme guidelines must be adhered to.

         

      8. Checkout and Payment Page

        • The merchant’s country must be clearly displayed during the checkout process.

        • Up-to-date VISA and MasterCard logos (if applicable) must be included.

        • A link to the Terms and Conditions must be provided, with a disclosure that placing an order constitutes consent to these terms.

        • Upon completion of a payment, customers must receive a receipt for the purchased product.

           

      9. Product/Service Information
        Ensure that products or services are described clearly, including:

        • Prices, currencies, and any applicable fees

        • Product images (where applicable)

        • Price information including VAT

           

      10. SSL Encryption
        Your website must be secured with SSL encryption to protect user data and transactions.

         

      11. Additional Requirements
        Depending on your business model, additional requirements may apply, including:

      • License information for regulated activities

      • Compliance with PCI DSS

      • Compliance with local legal notices

      • Third-party certifications

      • Age verification for restricted products/services

      12. Test-URL Requirements (if applicable)
      If only a Test-URL is provided, the following must be included:


      • Descriptions of at least three products

      • Full company information (as outlined above)

      • Refund, return, shipping, and cancellation policies (with exceptions noted as above)

      • Test login data (if necessary)
