How to Complete Your Swish Onboarding

To start accepting live Swish payments from your customers, you must first have a Swish Handel agreement with your bank.

Step 1: Sign a Swish Handel Agreement

  • If you haven’t already, please contact your bank and request to sign a Swish Handel agreement.

  • Ask your bank to add Mondido as your technical supplier (TL-9872450995).

  • Once the agreement is active, you will receive a Swish number (starting with 123…) from your bank.

  • You will need to enter this number in your Mondido account to enable Swish payments.

Note: Swish is only available for Swedish companies.


Step 2: Currency Information

  • Swish only accepts transactions in SEK (Swedish Krona).

  • If your base currency is not SEK (e.g., EUR), please notify us once you’ve completed your onboarding. We’ll help ensure your account is set up correctly for currency conversion.


Step 3: Accessing the Swish Onboarding in Mondido

Once you have:

  1. If you dont already have one, created your Mondido account, and

  2. Completed the Business Information section,

...you will see a list of available payment options in the onboarding dashboard.

  • Click on the Swish row to enter the Swish-specific onboarding.


Step 4: Completing the Swish Onboarding

You will now see a page with the following fields:

  1. Currency

    • The field will show SEK – Swedish Krona (this is mandatory and the only currency Swish supports).

    • If your account uses another base currency, it will be converted into SEK for Swish transactions.

  2. Swish Number

    • Enter the Swish number you received from your bank (must start with 123…).

  3. Status

    • Waiting: This means one of the following:

      • You haven’t selected Mondido as a provider in your bank agreement, or

      • The Swish number and/or organization number does not match your agreement.
        Please double-check these details with your bank and what you entered in our onboarding.

    • Verified:

      • Once your details are correctly filled in and confirmed by Swish, the status will update to Verified.

      • You will also see the message: “Your Swish number is verified. You can now enable Swish for your customers to use.”

      • A confirmation email will also be sent to you.

  4. Enable Button

    • Once the status is Verified, the Enable button will become active.

      Please note that once you do this, the account will be set as "live" and billing will start on your account- see: Our Pricing.
    • Click it to activate Swish and start accepting live payments from your customers.
