I’m changing banks. How can I ensure it works with Mondido?

If you change banks, you’ll receive a new Swish number. This number is used in Mondido to enable your customers to pay with Swish in your online store.

Currently, it’s not possible to transfer Swish Handel numbers between banks, as the certificates are tied to a specific bank. If you switch banks, you’ll receive a new Swish Handel number.

To continue using Swish with Mondido, there are a few steps you’ll need to follow.

  1. Follow this guide Getting started with Swish
  2. Add the new Swish number from your new bank in the Mondido onboarding and, once verified, click "Enable".
  3. We recommend keeping the old Swish number active with your previous bank for a while (not in Mondido Onboarding) to allow for manual refunds from that account.
