When you change banks, you’ll receive a new Swish Handel number. This number is required for your customers to be able to pay via Swish in your online store.
Please note:
It is currently not possible to transfer Swish Handel numbers between banks, since the Swish certificate is tied to a specific bank. If you switch banks, you must request a new Swish Handel number from your new bank.
To update and continue using Swish with Mondido:
- Login to Mondido Admin and navigate to "Account Details" in the left menu, click on the tab for Swish.
- Add the new Swish Handel number.

Once verified, click "Enable" to activate the new Swish number.
✅ Recommendation:
Keep your old Swish number active with your previous bank (outside of Mondido) for a short time. This allows you to manually issue refunds from that account if needed. - We recommend you test the payment method after the change to make sure it works as intended, see: How to Test Swish in Live Mode
