Many merchants who sell to several countries would like to have the payment methods that best suit the customers in each of the different markets. In most countries, payment by card is a common option but PayPal is also highly requested, especially if you sell to the United States.
Mondido has now made it easy to add PayPal to the payment window. When you add PayPal to your Mondido payment window, the customers who prefer to pay with PayPal online can make their payments with more options, which increases the conversion of e-commerce. Often, only a few clicks are needed for the customer in order to make the payment with their PayPal-account.
Your PayPal earnings will be credited to your PayPal-account without any delay and you can then choose to transfer the money to your bank account or to leave it in the PayPal-account.
First, you need to set up a business PayPal-account and upload the login credentials for the account as a text-file at Mondido. Follow the steps below for instructions on how to do it.
1. Go to your PayPal-account and follow the steps marked with red
2. Click on "Show" for API username, API password and Signature, then copy all text and paste into a text-document that you then upload in Mondido's admin (click on "Add more files"). The information here is stored securely and encrypted in order for the Mondido team to make the connection to PayPal.
3. Notify Mondido at onboarding@mondido.com when you have uploaded the PayPal information and we will help you get started.
